Live in Granada - the healthiest place on earth

Granada - declared as the healthiest place on earth to live by the World Health Organization - has pleasant weather and more than 320 days of sunshine. Granada's property is rising fast, especially since RyanAir has started flying daily and EasyJet has also ventured into this southern part of Spain. Now, it is extremely easy to travel to Granada, with just 1 hour 30 mins from Malaga airport, 30 mins from Granada airport, and 1 hour 40 mins to the coast. The property rates have shot up and many investors have shown interest in real estate.

The high plains of Granada, however, still leave good option for judgmental house investors. Due to the presence of national parks, sierras lakes and rivers, Granada has abundant water available in the area. Nature lovers can find good lands and plots at low prices in Granada. The development of Granada is also increasing day be day. With the construction of new roads, Granada is now only half an hour away from Malaga airport.

Granada is truly a heaven for those you enjoy adventure sports - hang-gliding, scuba diving, sailing, rock climbing, scrambling, water skiing, wind surfing, flying, parachuting and more. Granada is also known as a student city, as a huge number of students come here to study.

Granada is proud to be a home to the Alhambra - a colossal castle comprising gardens, fortifications and glorious palaces. No wonder, it considered to be one of the ten wonders of the world. The Albharma was also the last Moorish stronghold before Ferdinand and Isabella took over Granada at 1492, the same year Columbus arrived to America and the Jews were forced to leave Spain. Opposite the Alhambra on the hill is the Albacin – an old Arabic quarter comprising cobble stoned streets with white washed houses.

Granada is often associated with flamenco – the traditional style of Spanish gypsy guitar music with singing. Sacromonte is the place in Granada where flamenco attracts lots of tourists and local Spanish.

Granada is a home to famous author and playwright Garcia Lorca – widely acclaimed as one of the best writers of the 20th century. Garcia Lorca met a tragic end to his life when he was fired by the firing squad in the infamous Spanish Civil War of 1936-1939. Truly, a great place to live and enjoy one’s life, Granada is attracting a large number of foreign and national investors alike. With a healthy environment and so many glorious landscapes to watch, one can never get enough of Granada.
